what are some decent budget speakers?

Those P660C's are the best I've come across for the price. But they can be found cheaper than the link above. I bought two sets last year for my old car and paid $120 per set. But they come with a ton of tweeter mounting options, the connectors on both the speakers and tweeters are really convenient and nice. And the set is 2 ohm so they will pull more power from the amp. Mine got pretty stupid loud and stayed clear. All around a great set for the price.
  5. Product Brand & Model: Hertz Mille ML1600 woofers and Mille Legend 700.3 mids and tweeters with passive crossover Condition of all items: Brand New in Box. Items have never been mounted, used, powered, etc. Items were bought new from an authorized dealer, provided picture of receipt and online verification of dealer status from Elletromedia. On the 700.3 box, I did cut out the template for the mids and tweeters as I was going to attempt to fiberglass my own A pillars. I bought this set to put into my 2016 Charger Scatpack, but realizing that to properly run these, it will put me more money into the system than I care to spend now by the time I buy a processor and amps and everything else that goes into a great system; as there are quite a few performance upgrades I want to knock out first. I am missing the plastic bags for one of the woofers and one grill. I had taken them out to look at to get an idea of how I was going to integrate them into the doors and now have no idea where they are. They will be wrapped in plastic again prior to shipping to avoid scratches. Total Price: : $800 obo. Please no lowballing Shipping Terms: : Included Conus. Items will be shipped and insured and reboxed together with more than enough protection to ensure a safe trip. Pictures: - Unless you are a Upgraded member, or your last 10 iTrader feedbacks are positive, you must post a picture of the exact item you are selling.

    FOCAL BNIB Expert PS 165

They don't. These are great speakers, and worth what he is asking for them, but the HSK XL's are in a different league. There is a reason for the few hundred dollars difference in price. You may not notice any difference in sound quality at lower volumes, but the XL's will get way louder and sound clear while taking gobs of power.

    6.5 component around $150

No, just be sure to set you HPF to around 80 if running a bunch of power. I had mine set at 80 and was running around 150w

    6.5 component around $150

What he said ^^^. Ran P660C's in my old car and they were amazing for the price. Crazy loud and clear. And as he said, they are a lower resistance. Just keep that in mind if you plan on bridging an amp to power them

    Audison and Hertz Collection

The early models did when they first came out back in like '09. I've seen them in numerous installs since with no issue.

    Exodus Anarchy 6.5 Mid 4ohm

When did you get these from DIYSound? I was looking earlier today at getting a set but wasn't sure if they actually have them in stock. They don't update that site too often.

    Boston Acoustic SPG555

haha. Seriously you make more money than me. Regardless, that has no bearing on the situation. I was just stating that you are stupid for overpaying for something. Do you willingly overpay for gas? eh, it is $1.75 today, but I make what I think is a lot of money and my internet wiener is huge, so I'll pay $2.50 per gallon just because I'm a *******..... But, hey, congrats on verifying what I said about you being dumb there guy

If it cost you $850 new then you are dumb and got ripped off.

    Tantric Sounds 6.5 HD mids

They are single 4 ohm. In case people don't remember, TaylorFade did a review of these a long time ago and they had a nearly identical freq response to a set of $1k DynAudio mids.

New comps $100-150, think I blew my old ones

I'm running a set of JBL P660C's and love them. Get crazy loud and do not distort at all. I'm running about 150w to them with my highpass set to 80Hz. They are very well built and feel really solid. They are like $115 new. I've used many speakers and installed many sets for friends in the $100-$150 range and these have been my favorite so far
