    Cadence S2W8

    Awesome review! Thanks!
  2. More than likely it is the HU. Esp if the static is consistent at any volume or mode. Just get another random speaker, hook it up to the tweet/mid section of the xover and see if you hear the same thing. If it is, then its definitely the HU, or could possibly be a bad xover. Id try the HU first, then go on from their. If all else fails, hit me up ill hook you up nicely with some kinda speaker set.

    SQ vs. SQL vs. SPL

SQ all day and tomorrow. Straight SPL is pointless to me, esp for a daily driver, i dont see how you can enjoy the music.
  4. Car audio is all about being excessive... The difference is peace of mind & not an audible one. Before OFC was popular, countless people used and ran other wire in daily drivers as well as competition vehicles, with continuous success and zero issues.

    Sub dilemmas.....

Check out our s2 line..the 10 or the 12 would work with that power very well, sealed or ported.. Cadence Acoustics S2-Series S2W12-D4, 12" 1200 Watts 4 Ohm DVC Subwoofer

    Subs

Tough question, output will be dependent on actual power given, enclosure and the car itself. If your going ported, id consider this S1W12-D4 - Best Audio Deals If you want the biggest boom, and plan on upgrading your power later on..consider this Cadence Acoustics S2-Series S2W12-D4, 12" 1200 Watts 4 Ohm DVC Subwoofer Can handle 1000wrms all day, given the right setup/install...
