    $300 Subwoofer and Amp Build

Appreciate the feedback. So an 8" in a ported box would do me good?! Even if I want tight responsive bass? Send me your favorite 8" subs in the $150 range.

    $300 Subwoofer and Amp Build

I'll either buy or build. It's for a 2017 Ford Fusion
  3. Need some insight. Wanna spend no more than $300. Need to buy an amp and a Subwoofer(s). Look for tight punchy Bass. Hard hitting but not knock your mirrors off. Would prefer a sealed enclosure.. Anyone have any ideas on what to look for?

    Alpine SWT-10S4

Hello all. Looking to get this sub for my f150 . Question is , even this is rated at 350w RMS , do you think an amp giving it 500w RMS will be OK ? It will be in a sealed box. Sub model is an Alpine SWT-10S4. If I get the 4ohm model itll just be powered with 300w. If I get the 2ohm model , itll be powered with 500w of power.

Help Me Decide What To Get

2 0hms it is. Ive never had any experience with Shallow Mount Subwoofers so im a little hesitant. I worried they wont produce on the low end very well.

Help Me Decide What To Get

Hello all. Long time no see. Anyway Im gonna do a subwoofer set up to replace the factory Sony Subwoofer in my 2013 F150 . Heres a list of things im gonna be getting. Just need a second opinion. Do you think these will suffice? Sub(s) Box: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002U5ZAZS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_5?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER Sub(s): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005PO9Q0G/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2JVCW1GQY516A Amp: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BF6HYDE/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1SX1R00E2EUMR All advice is welcome. Thank you!
  8. Quick question. The High Level Input connector has 4 wires. White(+) White/Gray(-) Black(+) Black/Grey(-). Its a powered subwoofer so everything is already to go. My question is, should I connect the High Level input to the original factory sub woofer wires? And if so, how do i connect the 4 wires from the High Level Input, to the 2 wires that are going into the factory subwoofer from the factory amp? Being a subwoofer, there are no right and left channels correct? Would just using the White , White/Gray off the High Level Input suffice? Would really appreciate it if someone answered this as soon as possible. Im trying to get this thing in my car today=p

    Powered Subwoofer, Factory Stereo

Hello all, its been awhile. But anyway Im looking to purchase a Rockford Fosgate P300-12, to give my system some extra bass. Factory subwoofer just isnt cutting it. The car is an Audi A4 (2010) with a stock stereo. It does however , have a factory amp, with a subwoofer as i previously said. My question is, should I use a LOC or the High Level Input on the Powered Enclosure? And which either one you recommend, do I just T Tap into the existing factory subwoofer wire, or cut it completely and splice it? On the High Level Input as well as an LOC, there are multiple wires. I just want to hook the aftermarket powered subwoofer up. Do I have to utilize all the wires? Thanks!

Gains all the way up on amp...

Ill try that tomorrow. It just seems weird to me. Ive never had to put the gain past halfway with my other set ups. But all the amps ive ever had were Rockford T1500s and a T2500

Yes it is a 2v preout but if I turn the volume up to halfway, its loud. the door speakers that is.
