Bump, taking offers. One trade I'd consider is for an Alpine KTX-100eq (Alpine Imprint for 9887) + cash

I can't believe some of you sent money to a stranger over the internet as a loan. Durr durr.... wtf did you think was going to happen?
  7. Stranger things have happened.... is it even completely through the outer casing?
  8. I expected worse myself. The power wire was literally welded to the manifold and it took quite a bit to break it free. The battery didn't swell or anything though, just read 0.0 Volts after that lol I do Was it blackberry kush?
  9. I had a new Stinger SP1000 back in the day that I installed in my Olds Alero with too long of a power wire. There was enough slack in it that the wire eventually migrated over to the exhaust manifold and melted the insulation and shorted. The battery was toasted and my car shut off in the middle of a 4 lane highway. I got a new one under warranty /cool story

New Radio for Acura MDX 2002

If it's like my 07 Pilot and he does that he'll still have a dead radio in the dash and a second one that works. I got luck my 04 MDX didn't have Nav and I was able to run an Alpine CDA-9887. My Pilot got an Alpine OEM integration unit (PXE-H660) to keep all the functionality. It's not ideal and I'd rather have a deck but it works and I'm able to play 150+ DB with the stock radio.
  13. Woot woot! I hope Sundown's X line drops by spring so I can run 4 12"s.

I set my gain with a DMM

That's because the DMM method is fail x 100. I hate when people recommend it because it is retarded. It is a method for noobs who don't understand box rise and the fact that *gasp* not all amp companies tell the truth when they rate their amps whether it be underrated or overrated.
