Amp Protect help...

I want to check my ground tonight. I have it all hooked up to my battery and my battery is grounded to my welding table. I don't think it's a bad ground but I'll hook it up in my car and check it out. Hopefully it's not a bad amp And thanks for the welcome back. I've been back for maybe 6 months or so but just haven't posted much. It's so nice now that my son is getting older and I can have some of my cargo space back

Amp Protect help...

I traded for an amp from another member here. Part of the deal was I test the equipment prior to sending my speakers out. So I set everything up on my workbench, wire everything up, have the gains turned all the way down, stereo at 0 volume, RCA's connected, and speaker wire connected. As I begin turning the volume up, gain still at 0, the subwoofer makes a quick popping sound and the amp goes into protect. I reset everything, check all my connections to make sure no stray wire strands are touching, check the wiring at the subwoofer, check the RCA, etc. Turn everything back on, gains still set at 0, volume at 0. As I turn the volume up it goes into protect again. I re-check everything and try two or 3 more times with the same issue. I unhook the speakers and rca and it stays on fine, no protect. I hook up the RCA's, turn up the volume, and no issues. I hook up the speakers, turn up the volume and it goes into protect. I check the impedance @ the woofer and its setting at just about .9 ohms. (Amp is 1 ohm stable) I switch the phase and check all the settings and it still goes into protect. Anyone have any ideas? Battery is sitting at 12.46v and never drops. Amp is a Arc Audio XDi 2000.1 Thanks

SS Rubicon 1.2500 and 4.500, Custom Painted

How much for just the 2500 shipped to 26726?
7. I never said worthless, I said useless and that's exactly what it is. Its a plug for a company with no substance to back it up. I'm not trying to be a **** and even gave you a chance to edit the original post, since it was just an advertisement which is against the rules. If you'd like to contact the company and be a vendor please feel free. The community would love having another HO Alt option to choose. Plus you'd get your own forum and could advertise all you want from there.
8. Op will have a little longer to edit and post a review. No advertisements in the tech sections or by non-vendors. I'll give you a few mins to edit before deletion.
9. Are you going to post a review or is this just a useless plug for another company?

WTS/WTT: Hybrid Audio L6 Mids

Up! I'm also throwing in my SEAS Neo Tweets with these for the same price. This is a killer active front stage.

Look at the nominal impedance since its the average the resistance generally seen when it is playing within it intended range. They make it easier to determine the resistance the amp will see with an average since the resistance changes with each frequency played and can vary widely. The Re is the DC resistance of a voice coil while resting and the Nominal is the average the amp sees while playing.

Not significantly but to me I prefer aluminum over soft because I think it has a more accurate sound where soft domes have a smoother sound. It really comes down to personal preference.

15. Item(s) for Sale: HAT L6 Mids Up for Sale/Trade are my HAT L6 mids. The were previously owned by @PHD \- USA aka Geoff. I love these speakers but I'm looking to go in a different direction. They are in perfect working condition and are the best mids I've ever owned. I had them running off of a SAX 100.4 for about a year before I pulled them out. They have been sitting in my closet for about a year and a half. The magnet shows some rust and a lot of dried modeling clay from Geoff and there are some scratches on the ring but no flaws on the soft parts. The clay doesn't affect the sound at all but was used to seal everything up in the door. I also have matching Seas neo Tweets that I ran with these active. Only reputable buyers/traders.
