Pioneer DEH-80Prs

This gone?
4. I can't get the search function to work on this website anymore. I have tried researching this topic but haven't really found anything that clicks for me. My only takeaway is that a low Fs and QES is desired for a sub that will perform well in a 4th order. Need:8" or 10" that will perform alright in a 4th, anywhere from 400w-1200w RMS Reason: Port will be firing through the ski hole (2013 Honda Accord) and will be sealed off from the rest of the trunk. Goal: Not concerned with top notch sound quality, just want to play some slowed music and get down lol Budget: Don't really want to spend over $250ish Bonus: Recommend an amp 400-1200rms also would like to stay under $250ish

Subs and amp randomly quit

When it goes silent, check to see if your amp is in protect (red light) or if it doesn't have power etc. Double check connections

My first time at Slamology

I'm jealous. I haven't experienced any shows. That will change this year.

Need to identify Subwoofer (Help Guys)

Yeah, I would agree. Try and find box recommendations/specs for these subs and compare and use as a basis for yours if they are similar.
8. I would want to do a 4th versus a flat wall. Walk through sounds really tasty but I don't want to get involved with all of that Yeah seems like Tahoe is the most optimal choice.
9. The only time I've found myself liking a first gen is when the body is touching the ground and tucking 20's lol
10. First vehicle was an S10 so I have a soft spot for them. Def don't want a Gen 1 S10 though lol
11.
I would do a gen 2. Gen 1's can fit more alt easy from what I've seen, but I think gen 2's are overall a little bit better for audio, unless you really are going to get into the vehicle and make it audio oriented.
I see, thanks for the input Buck. I think they overall have a better look. They just appear more rounded to me
I own a Tahoe and an s10...whoever told you a wall in a Tahoe is cheaper must be high. S10's have much less cabin space area, therefore should get louder easily. I don't have wall exp but Tahoe's have much more cabin space so need more power/watts to get loud. @Hertz Mafia has somewhat wall exp.
My bad boomin, I meant in regards to the price of the vehicle. As far as on craigslist at least in the last month, the Tahoes seem to be going cheaper than S-10s to an extent anyways.
12. Who has experience with walls in Tahoes? I am looking at Gen 1 or Gen 2 Tahoes and was curious on your opinion on both as far as wall setups. Such as space constraints Are both just as simple to run triple+ alts? One easier for runs of wire? Is it me or does the Gen 1 have more issues with door sag/shutting and window tracks when mixed with bass? I originally had interest in just doing a blowthrough in an S-10 but in my local area, the Tahoes are much cheaper for some reason and it seems it would just be a lot easier to get loud with a hoe versus a blowthrough S-10. Thanks for the input

If I can afford it

You going for the the idea of a turbo or actually trying to push the motor to its ultimate death? That determines how much you will be spending and will play a factor in the longevity of the motor. Have to think about what is going to give first and if there is any potential upgrades for the motor if you want performance
