    Shallow Mount Subs

I have a few subs for sale or possible trade. (2) Dayton Audio LS10's shallow mount subs. One needed a little CA glue on the front surround and cone after coming a little unglued. The other sub is in great condition. $80 shipped each. Alpine SWR-T10 shallow sub new in box. $280 shipped. If you happen to own a 2015-2018 Chevy Colorado, I can throw in a box for the Daytons for cheap. Possible trades would be for some Tweeters, 3"-3.5" mids, unity 6x9s or similar, or PPI 900.4. Memphis 1000.1 Mono

Memphis Audio 1000.1 in very good overall condition, however it is missing two screws on the front. $275 shipped. I have tons of refs on here, DIYMA, and CAclassifieds and can normally send out same day or next day after payment is received. Possible trades would be for some Tweeters, 3"-3.5" mids, unity 6x9s or similar, or PPI 900.4. Thanks Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  9. Yeah I was surprised by how good a single 10 sounded and the output. Someone local is selling a pair for a great price but I only need one. I'm debating on buying them both and just selling one. They're both brand new in box too! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  10. I'm definitely a bro! Lol Nice man, I'm sure those subs sound **** good too. I'm currently trying to figure out my sub setup in my truck right now. For now I have a prefab box with 2 dayton audio shallow mount subs in a sealed box for under the seat, a single ported box with an Alpine shallow mount sub for under the seat, and a 15" re audio *** in a ported enclosure. The 15 is currently in with my back seats taken out. The plan is to fit 2 alpine 10" shallow mounts under the rear seats ported for daily (going to be a really tight fit) and 2 15s ported with rear seats yanked out for fun every once in a while. I live in Bonita about 30 minutes south of Poway. Where are you at now? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  11. By the way, I have a lifted 2015 Chevy Colorado and I love it....lol Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  12. So the real question is, how does it sound? Really nice build. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    Help me understand this

I've ran the XDi 1200.6 and 1100.1, Alpine PDX-V9's and M6, and PPI 900.4's and 600.2 and to be honest, I can't tell much of a difference at all. The only difference I've found has been because of amplitude/power and the XDi 1200.6 had a little hiss to it. These have been all setups over the last year and a half in my truck running through stock HU and MiniDSP 6x8.

    3 way setup question

It's a little late but I'll help you anyway. So you want to flatten your EQ and turn off any bass boost, etc from your HU. After that's done, send all three preamp outputs from your deck into the line level inputs on the audiocontrol unit. Don't think of the RCA outputs as front or rear, just think of them as output 1,2,3,4, etc. After running RCA's to the audiocontrol inputs, send RCA's from your audiocontrol outputs 1 and 2 to your 4ch amp. It'll either say 1 and 2 or front and rear on the 4ch amp. Just pick 1 and 2 or front. Hook 1-2 or front as your tweeters and run speaker wiring to your tweeters accordingly. Run a second pair of RCA's from your audiocontrol outputs 3-4 to your 4ch amp inputs 3-4 or rear. Wire your midrange to that amp accordingly. Run the third pair of RCA's from your audiocontrol outputs 5-6 to your 2ch amp inputs. Wire that amp to your midbass. Ditch the crossovers for the speakers since the audiocontrol will let you run active. You don't have to make channels 1-2 for tweeters, 3-4 for midrange, etc, it's just the way that I like to do it. You can switch them around however you'd like. Hope this helps.
