Hey what's up guys it's been a while but I'm back and doing a new build
I had 1 18" but good old YouTube and some dumbass that rebassed a song and put 20hz at +3db in the song so as I was blasting it on the highway with the windows all the way down and that note played I bottomed that b*+#% out so bad it ripped the leads off of the VC I was pissed but I knew better then to not test the sound out before turning it up so loud.
So ether way I found a hdc3 15 for a good price and had the intentions of picking up a 2nd one to do a 2 15" 6th but have yet to find a D2 15 so for now I'm going to see if the 1 will be loud enough to keep me happy lol
Also I had alot of 2x4's left over from a project making a table that have been kicking around my shop for about 8 months taking up space and I didn't have enough plywood to completely to the box so I decided to try something interesting and will most likely never do it again it was just too much work putting each board together with 4in floor decking screws every 10 inch or so but the bright side is it will survive World War 3 lol
The box is 3.7cu.ft@21hz and front chamber I forgot I think its 4.5cuu.ft @41hz I'll have to go look to confirm it but that sounds about right.
It's kind of a funky design it's like a series tomb slash folded horn I wanted something different and I hope it sounds good but we will see .

Well I had a bit of time to do some quick testing but I need to go torture Home Depot in the parking lot LOL or someplace away from where I live but I managed to a couple of sweeps with it sealed up and van with this kind of odd I'm not sure if I like it it's nice and strong in the 40s hz and 37 to 30 it screams that your going to die then levels out real real quick at 28 Hertz down to 24 Hertz and then she merely picks up down to 19 Hz then picks up every increment down to 15 Hz! This box likes them lllloooowwwwsssss now we'll see if I can reproduce that with the windows down. Also on the dash I managed to get a 147 at 21 hz but before I walk around bragging I'm going to try to do it again to make sure it wasn't user error. Stay tuned

Well I changed it up a bit I wanted to try out this nemesis colossal 15" that I got for a good price and so I changed up the front port shorting it so the tuning is 28hz small side and 51hz big side .
I definitely need more power than this apmi2000 because even at 0.5ohm this sub is not even trying lol I was surprised
And also it plays deep my peek is at 22hz and I was able to do a 139db at 18hz! Lol only problem is that it sounds good and loud with the windows down about 3" but all the way down and I lose alot of bass and this has never been a problem for me but this is my 1st series tuned 6th order so I'm guessing it might be a characteristic of these boxes?
