    Thanks for the ideas, but I've narrowed it down to a problem with the x-over on the driverside it seems to have a resistor that shorts/works whenever it wants. Now I need to decide wheather or not to fix it or buy new x-overs..... Anyone know where I can get replacement resistors, capacitors...

    Thanks for your ideas people I'm gonna stick with my panasonic. I have found to be true by comparing my HU to my friends Pioneer Premier 6500, that the panasonic is more capable of playing burnt Cd's, and it skips less, as far a clarity though I'm still undecided.
