Help! I need some guidance for my upgrade!

I'm also on a limited budget and I don't plan on having the car for any more than a year plus I don't have the capacity to tune a DSP. Not laptop or computer and my phone barely makes it by lol. I mostly just need help understanding how to calculate wire gauge and what distro blocks I'll need. I...

Help! I need some guidance for my upgrade!

I have an 06 Saturn Vue with a db11 1400 running a 15" American bass 700w rms 2 ohm, factory stereo, factory rear speakers and two 6.5" hifonics 100w rms. I wanted to add a 2 channel amp to the two front speakers (the amp I have was free but it's old) but I don't really want to tap into the...

Because I apparently, due to having too many children and a stressful *** job, had a brain fart and was thinking of the wire gauges in reverse. 🤦‍♂️

There is a connector already attached to the amp. There is a picture of it, it looks like a Molex connector. Is that not from the factory? If not, how would I go about taking it off to convert it to accept bigger gauge wire?

But how would I convert the connector that is already on the amp to take those pins?

    No rumble?

The wires were in the spring terminals correctly but I pulled the sub from the box and redid the wiring and also put ferrules on the + and - cables and I now have bass and some. The bass hits way harder now. I can only turn my bass knob up half way now when I used to crank it all the way

    No rumble?

Think this may have something to do with it???It's the sub connector plate on the back of the box. Looks like it started melting the plastic. Why or how would that happen? Loose wire connections?

    No rumble?

I agree with you 100% which is why this is how I will be spending my morning now. Haha I brought my multimeter home with me from work to help with the process

    No rumble?

Like I know that an LOC is an electrical component and I also know that almost all electrical components have the ability to burn out or die but I have never even considered thinking about the LOC being a problem. I seen it when I had it and installed it and remember fighting with myself about...

    No rumble?

I have a DB11 amp running a 15 inch American Basswith LOC a non-active LOC. I've had it hooked up for a year now and the other day not playing any crazy song that I haven't played before my sub stopped working. All the connections are there that fuses are both good. The in-line and the amp fuse...

Concord C2050 2-1 Channel Amp Info

I have a Saturn Vue with a db11 monoblock running a 15" American Bass via LOC but have nothing for the front speakers. I was recently given a Concord c2050 100w amp that's from the 90s and noticed...

I'm not even putting new speakers in. I'm just putting an amp in because my sub overpowers the speaker if I turn the base control down. And it's crazy because I feel like the sound system in the Saturn is better than the sound system I have in my 07 Lucerne, which has that Harmon Kardon system.

Honestly I made an account in hopes of finding an old school amp forum on here. lol I looked through them and didn't notice one but I also have extreme hyperactivity and tend to miss sh** 🤣 So does such a forum exist?
