the microsoft is USB so I tried 3 different ports under normal startup, nothing.
Then I tried the USB to PS/2 with it and same thing. The logitech uses USB to PS/2. Worked fine until now. I can use the keyboard under Safe Mode but not normal startup.

Eh...I'd just either build something completely new or buy something new. I don't think you'd be satisfied with just replacing tweeters/mids.
