But shouldnt the bass knob work. And also still need to know where to set my HU if im using the crossover on the amp, as i read you use only one of them not both or should i set HU low pass @80 and then set the amp low pass at 90 ?

I removed my DC Audio 1100.1 amp got the Gladen amp in... calculated my voltage spec off the sub and i set amp gain voltage @ 39v.... But now with this amp i cant here any difference when turning the control knob . Doesn't seem to change sub bass at all. So i sent a message to the seller to see...

My My Gladen amp is listed as 980w @ 2ohm, And my sealed sub is Image dynamic IDQ12 V.4 D4 is 750 rms , so ill be calculating my gain off my subwoofer Specs , which calculating shows to be 38.7 a.c volt

I guess im a little confused on it. :) So if i use the -10db 40hz tone and knob at max , and then set gains, then that means with knob at max ill be sure im not sending clip signal ? and ill then only be able to lower sub bass if it to much on certain music ?

Actually i got to do the opposite as i mostly here the right side. And also my 65 year old Left ear is a little weaker than the right. :) And getting a half way decent sounding system in a 2005 Vette is a challenge in it self.
