It would make a difference to the amp which in turn would make a difference on the sub...a 1ohm load like you know will push a amp to the extreme so to say.....therefore the sound quality would be less than the amp that can produce the same at 4ohms....its easier for the amp therefore the sound...

4 ohm compared to 1ohm is like pavengmike6 said, is that the 1ohm load presented to the amp will make the amp work more to put out more....where as the 4 ohm load will be easier for the amp but will be less power....and like the previous post said the thing to do is determine what amp by what...

yes there should be on the net or Im sure that a local shop more than likely carries alpine..just give a couple of the shops a call...and ask...should be no problem at all...unless they did place a starp on...

thanks for the replys alright so since I have a crossover then I already have a built in bass blocker for the tweets... I am going to be running my comp. set off my HU (digifine2.2) do any of you see any trouble with doing this? thanks

how do I determine what size fuse to place before my tweeters? the tweeters are 85watts rms, im installing a compent set and I was told that you can place a fuse before the tweeter, so that you will blow the fuse rather than the tweeter.... do you guys feel its nessecary to fuse them? thanks...
