what do you mean by solid? Is that a tsunami amp?
Your trial fit still looks cleaner than my tiral fit. And mine had wonderful alt whine, so loud I'd be able to use it for dB drag.
I did have whine at first, all I did was ground the stereo to the dash with 10 gauge wire, and bolted a 4 gauge cable from the dash staight to the frame. After that the RCA cables passing close to the leads didn't cause any trouble. Even with volume at the limit on the head unit on IASCA's silent track, not even a hint of whine. Oh yeah and the amp is an Autotek MX250.
