A proper desined bandpass is awesome! A prefab one that you buy by itself to put just any subs in, just won't cut it! It looks like it came with your subs, so it's probally made just for tham? Bandpass isn't the best, but neither is ported, sealed. Just personal preferences!
Ported, sealed may give you better results than a prefab bamdpass, unless it's designed specifically for them!
Thx DB, I think I will invest in having a box built, should i have it tuned to around 30hz? It seems that is around what everyone is doing with their boxes.
Yep, if ya get a specifically ported box, or a good sealed one, i WILL definately rate it much better. 30 hz would probably be good, i built my own first ported box this weekend and tuned it to 32, it made a HUGE difference over my sealed box, it was unbelievable.
35hz *******! No one asked him what kinda music he listened to. That can change the desirable port tuning cant it, since some music doesnt go as low as others, factors like that. 10 because a-bahns are good subs too!
