its a kaption box where the cap is it engeaved KAPTION they hit really nicely as for the cap I only use it beacaude I think its kool it have the digital read out its just for cosmetics and show..
does any body really understand what a cap does?
having an extra battery realy doesn't do **** for your system. it won't hold a charge over 12.6v. the caps hold that 14.5 - 20v charge that you alt puts out for the quick punchy pulls. why the hell would you think that you need an extra battery?????? it doesn't kill your alternator, and if you say that it does, you need to read into the technical of you charging system. if you have an 80amp alt and are trying to pull a 100 amp load, and you alt takes a **** don't blame the caps. if you don't have a cap and high output alt you'll "clip" your amps with the drop in voltage. bad news for all of your electrical components. people add many batteries for airbags, hydros, lighting, just things that run with your engine off. an extra battery will just help you car start better. dry cells are used because they aren't affected by vibration, and can be charged and discharged many times.
