jeremy, this is the bottom, u can't see it when the box is down. while i agree the box needs re-tuned(currently 45hz, needs to be 35hz or so), the looks are fine. if you look at the picture with the box and seat down, it blends in nicely.
as too how loud, it's gotten a 134.6db. not super loud, but respectable for 8's in a full size extended cab truck.
