2014 Chevy Sonic has 0 audio in the car

Did you remove the factory headunit?

Which head unit are you trying to install?

Did you try to reinstall your factory headunit? Chimes and buzzers are controlled through the factory radio its self apparently
I did remove the factory headunit, the new headunit is the Boss audio be920wcpa-c, im not able to try the old headunit since I had to fully wire a new plug in to be compatible with the new headunit

When you say no working cluster chimes; do you mean lights as well or just the sound itself?
Some Chevy cars use an OEM amplifier to run all the chimes. Maybe your's has one and got cooked or has a blown fuse.
Could you verify?
Just all of the sounds, no issues with all of the lights, I've never seen an oem amp in the car and after I googled it, google tells me it doen't have one.

If no amp, then your issue does not make sense. Is there an Audio or Amp fuse on the fuse box cover legend?
There is an audio fuse, I never put any add a fuses into that fuse since I had no clerance for the add a fuse. Because of this I tried the icp and then thats where the issue started. I pulled the audio fuse out and not only did it not look fine, but when I put a new fuse in that I knew worked, nothing changed.

Double check in your settings that your internal amp is set to on

And double check 15 amp fuse in back of headunit it self for good measure
Although I suspect if that went you shouldn't have power to the unit as well 🤷‍♂️

I dont have the headunit plugged in, I was recommended to unplug the add a fuse that was controlling the headunit to to turn on and off with the car. Although, before I unpluged the headunit it actively turned on and off with the car just had the car had 0 audio output from chimes and the headunit.

Don't you already have a remote wire that you were using for an amp?

Use that for your head unit trigger
Then find the remote out on back of headunit (blue wire)
And run that to the amplifier?

Are you saying like splice the remote wire for my sub and my headhunit together? if so that was my plan to do once I managed to regain chimes and sound. My goal has been to try and regain chimes just so I know that my system isint entirely messed up then splice together them into the same add a fuse so that I only have 1 add a fuse and I dont mess up the system. I'm just stuck on the whole regaining chimes without any extra accessories part.

Take the remote wire that's coming out of fuse panel cut it to length to reach back of head unit run it to the red wire
Accessories wire on head unit

Then connect the blue/white wire (remote out) on back of head unit to the amp
That will trigger the amp on when your head unit turns on

My sonic does not have a remote out wire, this is why I was wiring to the fuse box in the first place.
