If insurrection and seditious conspiracy is "patriotism" and the POTUS thinks those criminals should be paid for their time, then why should the left think rioting is bad?

The left should think rioting is bad because rioting is bad. Despite how lowly you think of Trump, you're lowering yourself to Trump standards. You do you.

Maybe it's because you can't differentiate between objective fact and subjective opinions. For example, "we" cannot prove people were using "Sleepy Joe" figuratively. We can only offer our word that we were using it figuratively, we can provide opinions from other people that "Sleepy Joe" was being used figuratively. We cannot "prove" some critical mass of people were NOT referencing a lack of sleep when they called Biden "Sleepy Joe" anymore than you prove that some critical mass of people meant he was literally "Sleepy." Yet you spent pages asking for some sort of proof of something that was subjective all along.

My gawd you are insufferable. I can't prove there is some critical mass of people/conservatives who used "Sleepy Joe" literally anymore than you can prove they were using it literally. I offered a mountainous amount evidence regarding figurative nicknames, how others viewed the nickname and the closest thing to an expert opinion on the matter (Biden's biographer). Unfortunately, Pew Research doesn't think this issue is as important as you think it is, so Pew didn't conduct a controlled survey regarding "Sleepy Joe."

Consistency in nicknames may be important to you. I think the general public doesn't even give it consideration. Personally, I never given any thought to the consistency of nicknames until you brought it up. I think it doesn't matter. Trump can be (literally) Orange Man and Biden can be (not literally) "Sleepy Joe" and it has (literally) zero affect on the world.

The right has a tough time recognizing hypocrisy. Or they intentionally ignore it. Either way....people are taking notice of the fascist regime they voted in. Midterms are going to be bloodbath.

The question all along has regarded the moniker "sleepy Joe" that the right wing loved so much, until Trump started falling asleep in public regularly.
Suddenly, Joe was not so "sleepy Joe" anymore.

But if Biden speaks at a graduation ceremony about his son dying from the war in Iraq, the right has an aneurysm over it.
