Precisely why I asked for the etymology, which you have thus far failed to provide.

Along with that, you applauded Thx's posting of the definition of sleepy which 100% regards sleep.

Make up your mind.

So your agreement with Thxone's attempt to define the word is now in contrast with what you actually think.

That would suggest your head is up your ***.
And I mean that figuratively. I don't actually believe you have achieved cranial-rectal insertion.
I told you why I didn't post the etymology, and we both know you don't care about the etymology or you'd look it up yourself. Furthermore, I've posted dozens of times, that I'm not using the word literally, so it's etymology is useless for this purposes of this conversation. Why can't you understand that?

But since you can't seem to accept "our" word that it's not literal, how about Wikipedia? Or Biden's biographer? Or some random dudes on Quora? How about Liz Cheney's take on Sleepy Joe?

Sleepy Joe, nickname used by Biden's opponent Donald Trump and his supporters, most prominently in the 2020 presidential election, to attack Biden as 'mentally slow

This should be interesting.

@RobGMN in what regards does "sleepy" have to do with "sleep"? You said 100%, how so?

You are arguing from your own confusion. You'd rather be wrong, claim you are right than to yield to any non liberal. So sad.
Newsweek used Sleepy Joe figuratively - Rob wins!!! Rob wins!!! Rob is currently 1,562 - 0 in all debates in all weight classes. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Was Rob all confused when they used to call Bush.V2 "shrub?" What about Slick Willie for Clinton, Teflon Don (Trump), Teflon President (Reagan)... And that's just Presidents, what about all the nicknames he's had to have encountered throughout life, nicknames of other famous people, nicknames of famous buildings, etc. Yet we're supposed to believe this is the first time in his life that he's encountered a nickname that isn't literal??? Smokin' Joe Fraizer? Iron Mike Tyson? Sugar Ray (Leonard and Robinson). Karl Mecklenburg (LB 80s Broncos) was called the Snow Goose, yet he wasn't a goose. Steve Atwater was the Smiling Assassin, but I highly doubt he ever assassinated anybody.
Don't forget the A-Train Mike Alstott!!!

If the MSM (aka propaganda media) can't present the news in a deceptive way, what will they do? They'll have to completely redo their business model from the ground up. Additionally, I don't believe the public wants unbiased news, facts, both sides of the story, etc. They'd rather go on Tiktok, X, Bluesky, 4Chan, etc and live in an echo chamber where their beliefs aren't questioned and challenged. The pages of whether "Sleepy Joe" is literal or not are perfect example. Some people are so caught up in an echo chamber where they're never challenged that they are incapable of believing "us" when we say it wasn't literal.

Kamala should not have even been a part of the election. To be nominated to even run there are steps. None of which she took.

1. Meeting Constitutional Requirements:
  • Be a natural-born citizen of the United States.
  • Be at least 35 years old.
  • Have been a resident of the United States for at least 14 years.
2. Competing in Primaries and Caucuses:
  • Candidates participate in a series of state-level contests called primaries and caucuses.
  • These contests award delegates to the candidates based on voter preference.
  • Primaries: Voters cast secret ballots to express their preferred candidate.
  • Caucuses: Meetings run by political parties where participants openly express their support for a candidate, sometimes through methods like dividing into groups.
3. Winning Delegates:
  • The goal is to win a majority of delegates to secure the party's nomination.
  • The way delegates are awarded can vary by state and party; some use proportional allocation, others use winner-take-all, and some use a hybrid system.
4. National Nominating Convention:
  • The party holds a national convention where delegates from the primaries and caucuses officially cast their votes for the presidential nominee.
  • If no candidate secures a majority of delegates in the primaries and caucuses, the convention may become contested, requiring additional rounds of voting to determine the nominee.
  • The presidential nominee officially announces their vice presidential running mate at the convention.
In summary, to be nominated for president, an individual needs to meet the constitutional requirements, actively campaign and compete in state primaries and caucuses to win delegates, and ultimately secure a majority of delegate votes at their party's national nominating convention.

She met the COTUS requirements, and the party nominated her.
That's all that needed to be done.
And it was.

So, you are wrong about "Kamala should not have even been a part of the election."

You got an AI answer that you didn't bother to even try to understand.

Wrong, *****!

She announced she was running in JULY of 2024. That is the summer of 2024. Intentions to run are made in the spring. Show me where she registered IN THE SPRING of 2024 with the Federal Election Commission. Show me where in the spring of 2024 she announced her intentions to run for president. Show me in the summer of the year before and up through the spring of the elections year where the primary and caucus debates for Kamala took place. Presidential primaries and caucuses?

Like I said, she should not even have been in the mix.
