Too little clearance for 12" DC Level 2?

I'm in the market for a new 12". DC has a sale on their previous model Level 2 for $130 and i was thinking about grabbing one. The only thing that concerns me is the mounting depth.

It would be going under the rear seat of a Ram 1500. The mounting depth of my box is 7", and the sub has a mounting depth of 6.1".

Is less than an inch too little space between the bottom of the box and the pole vent?

The clearance has to be at least the diameter of the pole vent.

Diameter is the minimum, 2x diameter is ideal.

You can think of it as the port area; no sense in making half the port twice the size. The vent itself would be a choke point as opposed to the clearance.
