Have "they" really gone after guns? "They" have been going after guns for at least 3 decades, and all I see is more guns on the streets. The only meaningful gun control I've seen in 30 years is Obama's Bump Stock ban, which was never approved by Congress; probably wouldn't have been approved by Congress, forcing him to circumvent the legislature.

I don't expect good leaders. I didn't say everyone, I said most (people are party loyalist).

I don't know what the solution is. I watched all the Clinton/Trump debates and never would have voted for Trump. In the end Trump turned out to be an effective leader. Waiting until the very last day wouldn't have convinced me to vote Trump instead of 3rd party. It's a bit of crap shoot.

7 hour long lines. Numerous voting machine failures. The richest country in the world can’t get voting on voting day right. Its not a big deal though, we can vote early and by mail before seeing any debates. That seems fishy to a conspiracy theorist, and I’m not sure I blame them. Seems like we should be doing it better.

I have no opinion on the sick time demands as I don't know what they are. I do feel that the point system for time off should not exist.

The point system is intertwined with sick leave.
They get no sick days now and are demanding a 24% pay increase over several years, starting with an immediate 14%.
That would bring average wages to $110,000 per year.

I just did some reading. It's a good start I think. It is a demanding occupation. Hell, I get 96 hours of PTO quarterly from the word go but we can also take time off if need be without pay and without any fear of punishment. I would call this a win "for Biden" if it works.

I would hope that if one were sick enough to use all the sick time at once that they would then be put on medical leave and be safe job wise. If not, they may want to consider a different career.

I’m thinking about money. They currently get up to 52 weeks of partial pay sick leave.
In my case, once I burn my leave, there is no more money.

I don't think that came from Biden. My guess is that offer is from the Rail companies and Biden just gets to deliver what is IMHO a shitty offer.
