Did a silly thing but I like it. $22 spoiler. Fit surprisingly well and easy and is on there tight as f$%&!!

Had to move the spoiler 1/4" forward towards the glass so that the entire mounting surface is on the deck lid. Ooops. I also installed the VG's on the glass. Specifically on the glass to blend them in a bit visually. They are high up enough to affect the attached air flow and guide it down the back window and over the spoiler instead of letting the attached air flow separate above the window and cause a low pressure area and associated lift. The VG's do nothing more than create vortices behind them putting energy back into the attached layer speeding up the air creating a high pressure area (downforce) over the rear window, trunk and spoiler. Less drag.

I should be at 90mpg now.

It has factory steel wheels, 15", behind those hubcaps. I have been looking at 17" wheels and some coilovers for the car.

I just hooked up the RCA cable to my Punch P500x2 amp with the power and ground cables. Tomorrow I will run the speaker wires to each door, install my CDT shallow 6.5" mids and mount the CDT tweeters in the doors with the crossovers. Gonna run traditionally to the components until summer then I will run 3-way active. I am tired of not hearing the mids and highs at offensive volumes with clarity.

The components are 2ohm and take 180w rms and I am going to feed them 250w rms @ 2ohms and up to 365w dynamic @ 2ohms. I don't see a need with this much power going to them to use a -5 or -10db signal when I set the gain... I am going with 0db straight up.

What tweeters you using? And let me know how how this shallow mount mids perform as far as midbass.

The tweeters that came in this set. They are in the car already, mounted in pods on the A-Pillars. I am going to attempt to use the pictured housings to mount them in the factory tweeter locations in each door which are aimed at me from the factory.

Gotcha. That spring in the tweeter cup, I found that removing it works better. That spring caused the tweeter to not snap in secure. Just my thoughts.
