Dems absolutely play dirty. But in the case of Russian collusion for example, there was indeed some evidence. Maybe Manafort really had his own reasons for giving voter data to Russia or maybe he did so for Trump. Maybe he did so for Trump, but without Trump's knowledge. Did Manafort fall on his sword like Ollie North did so many years ago for Reagan - we'll never know.

OTOH, despite an utter lack of evidence, the GOP has adopted a "stolen election" plank to it's platform. As a matter of fact the "stolen election" plank appears to trump all other conservative issues.

Before I watch, does this have anything to do with the Roger Stone texts between him and the Proud Boys, him using them as personal security, and saying things like "“**** the voting. Let’s get right to the violence. Shoot to kill.” and "“The key thing to do is to claim victory. Possession is nine-tenths of the law,” “Sorry. Over. We won.”?

That stuff is just fascinating.
