I accept that he existed based on historical analyses, but was also explaining if he DIDN'T actually exist, that his story is the same.

Can I PROVE he existed? No. Can I PROVE Hitler existed? Can I PROVE Pluto exists? Can I PROVE Cleopatra existed? No. But if myriad experts say it is so, I'll accept that.

I don't take this as proof that he was the son of a god, but do not doubt his existence as a person.
