AMEN Brother!!! I fertilized lawns in Pinellas County Florida in the hottest parts of the summer pushing 130lbs of granular fert in a spreader through thick *** Saint Augustine grass. Heat AND humidity. Wanna lose some weight, go try to handle July and August in Florida.

What has happened is they have caused MASSIVE INFLATION, the most in more than FOUR DECADES then introduce an Inflation Reduction Act for the elections to make it look like they care. It's all horseshit.

Here is an example. If something cost $10 when you take office then you cause that something to cost $50 because of the things you do while in office then create an Inflation Reduction Act that brings that something down to $40 then technically you have reduced the cost but that cost is still much higher than it should be and it is still your doing that it cost that much to begin with.

I am curious @RobGMN if you actually think this is a good thing.

I'm confused. So you seem to understand the effects of inflation when Biden is/can be blamed. Yet it seems like inflation doesn't exist if the discussion is about historical gas prices. Is that because in context of historical gas prices, inflation "absolves" Biden of any wrong doing???

We are not paying prices in any other time period than now. What we are paying currently is all that is relevant. Don't be confused. I understand inflation, hell, I understand what Rob keeps puking at us but this isn't about history lessons, math lessons or finding fun ways to make the current recession seem normal and in keeping with trends or making it seem like it isn't happening or downplaying what people are actually paying for things out of pocket. The time to talk about inflation in 1978 was in 1978.

Like I said, you can't take something that cost $10 then make it cost $50 then make it cost $40 and tell the people you lowered prices for them and expect praise. But that IS what they are doing and these phucks are eating it up with a spoon and actually believe these idiots are doing good. The last place i worked did similar trickery. They would have a normal price for something then increase the price of it for like a month then put it on sale for the original price. Only what the current government is doing is only bringing the price back down minimally so we are ALL paying much more.

You basically have stated you don't understand the concepts of inflation, nominal versus real pricing, the CPI, and change over time, but still want to complain about prices that have been historically dropping for decades and are not very different from what they were even a couple of years ago.
