Hello everyone!

I have decided to upgrade my car stereo on my 1994 Ford Mustang GT 5L. I have done some research but am still fairly new to this.
I was thinking of doing the following...

1.) Upgrade the receiver with to a Alpine CDE-172BT CD receiver
2.) Change all four speakers on the car front door panel and rear speakers. The Size is 6x8. The option I found was the
Kicker 46CSC684 CS Series 6"x8" 2-way car speakers. Any good?
3). JL Audio JD400/4 JD Series 4-channel car amplifier or the JL Audio RD400/4-channel car amplifier for the front/rear speakers.
4.) Stinger Elite 4GA 6000 Series Amplifier Wiring Kit

I did end up buying a JL Audio 10W6v3-D4 subwoofer for this set up. I still need amplifier for this sub and was not sure what to get.
I do have an option of buying a JL Audio HD Series HD750/1 which is used( 3yrs) and I am getting it for half of the cost. Will this amplifier
be to much for this subwoofer and for my car? Any other Amplifiers I should look at? I did want to stick with everything JL audio, even with
the speakers ( not sure what is good... want to stick to a reliable brand ). I am open to other options as well.

I also do not a have a subwoofer box for the 10W6v3-D4. I am thinking ported? I cant find anything online that has the JL specs for this box. Unless I
get it custom made.

I would appreciate any feedback! Any changes I should make? Recommend a different product or anything else I need for this set up.

Thanks !

Definitely get the HD, it is worth every penny. I am using that same amp on a 10w7 ported and it is perfect. The 10w7 is 500 watts RMS, so you should not have issues with overpowering the 12w6. I would forgo the Kickers and use adapters to change it up to 6.5s, doing so will open your options. On another note, I would also ignore the rear speakers and only use the front stage. That gives you the opportunity of upgrading to better speakers. JL's website has the PDFs for all their products.

x2, id get the HD amp and some 6.5" JL component speakers up front, and skip the rear speakers

heres the info on the ported box. click on specs and then ported specs...

youll need this too. the 50hz and 1khz test tones are at the very bottom...

Okay sounds good! But why not also get speakers in the rear? Do I need a separate amp for the speakers and use the HD for the 10w6? Subwoofer.

rears usually just screw up the sound quality and not running any will leave you with more money for better gear overall

you dont have to amp the main speakers, you can run them off the deck, but most people will recommend amping them

Music is recorded in stereo, meaning, left and right. So you will not get bonus program material by adding the rear stage. Less power is needed so less strain on your electrical, less RCAs, less wire runs, and less panels to remove for installation. As for amping the front stage, I say yes. It just sounds fuller when turned up. When cranking it on radio power, you realize how quick you reach it's limit by the audible strain. Although you will need another amp, you will appreciate it.

Would you go with either one of these amps. JL Audio JD400/4 JD Series 4-channel car amplifier or the JL Audio RD400/4-channel

Can you recommend me a amp if I end up going with the JL Audio C1 Series 5x7 or C2-570X 5"x7 or I can go with a pair of 6.5 with the brackets.

On JL website says that the 750HD is not recommended for the 10w6
