Got my new brutius in the mail so i hooked it up and everything is working fine but when i turn off my car and take my keys out of the ignition the amp is still illuminated?what is wrong?I even try to turn off my deck before i take the keys out the ignition.is it my deck maybe?

did you connect your remote to your power, if you did your going to need a switch, my friend connected his remote to his power and he didnt know that it didnt turn off, so it overheated and blew overnight, good thing it was a cheap pyramid amp he got for free

Unhook the remote wire from the amp. Is it still on? If it is then it sounds like it could be internal. If not, then it may be in the HU. Are you using a relay? I had a relay that stuck and left all my amps on when the ignition and HU was off. Let us know!

try connecting it to switched power lead off the head unit if all else fails. Its usually the red wire coming off the harness. Orange is constant power

ok guys you really need to help me out! I got my red acc connected to my red acc,got my 12 volt constant hooked to my yellow 12 volt constant ground to ground, light blue remote to light blue remote? everything is hooked up right according to the manual?

ALSO when I take the remote off the amp it turns off? I just don't understand the remote is hooked correctly

If the amp turns off when you disconnect the remote wire, then the amp is fine. The problem it would seem is either with the wiring near the HU or the HU itself. Is the HU turning off when you turn off the car? If so then there is an internal problem with the remote output from the HU. If not then you have the switched lead permanently powered. If the problem is the former, then you can either replace the HU or bypass its remote by wiring the amp lead into the ACC switched wire that turns the HU on. The amp will be on whenever the car is on but it will turn off when the car turns off.

I have a remote wire running to the blue amp wire on the back of the hu.. the amp will constantly be on and drain my battery. What am I doing wrong? There is another blue wire on the hu aswell
