Haven't posted to cacom in awhile. Now that I'm not a broke college student (just broke) I decided to finally get around to doing an install in my F150. I've have a set of JBL MS-62c's that sat in my closet for a few years now. While I was checking my mdf adapters for fit... let's just say that my mid got away from me. Dropped it right onto my garage floor. Pics are in the imgur link below. https://imgur.com/a/jteHLFC What are my options here? I'm almost at budget for this entire install. Getting a replacement JBL woofer is a longshot. Is it possible to JB Weld it back together? There is another crack that I am worried about. Or should I just find another 2 replacement woofers from another company (Dayton, Madisound, Crescendo, etc.)? I was going to run these passive and from my understanding is that JBL uses a 3-3.5k crossover point. I could really use any help possible and am open to any suggestions. Delays stink, but I just want to get this system up and running. Amp is a RF Prime 4 channel bridged for 150x2, not likely to see all that power though. I really hate myself right now considering how excited I was to finally use this beautiful set that I have only heard positive things about, only to break it for trying to work at night. Afterthought, would my speaker still work fine if I were to mount it? There would be a gap between the surround and adapter, but since this isn't a sub and doesn't need a perfect seal would it work? Would it negatively affect SQ?
