well in my altima i only had a 85A alt and was running 1650wrms w a brand new large battery (950cca vs stock 475cca), big 3 in 0awg, used good quality wire and i was always 13.8-14.4v. How? idk because that was deffinitely pushing the alt! That being said I would agree that you 70A alt is not...

you'll be just fine. At a constant 13.8-14.2V i run (my sig) amps totalling 160 fused amps 4ga from the battery to a distro w/ 2 4ga outs. it is difficult to find that type of distro though. Also be sure youre using quality wire. i've got knu kollosus, very very nice wire!

I have the eclipse cd4000 w/ 5v preouts and Kicker ZX650.4 & 750.1. I'm starting to get extremely bad clipping once my system has been on for a few tracks and its only getting worse. the clipping is mainly coming from my comps, so bad that i cant hear any music. Is this from the 5v preouts...
