I have a 2k rms amp going to 2 12" xfl's.. will there be a noticible difference if I go up to 3k rms..?? Or even 4k?? I don't care about number's I just want to know if there will be a audible difference before I spend the $$$ to upgrade.

i guess the real question is would you audibly hear the difference with 500 more watts per sub. I don't care about numbers.

I have 2 12" XFL d4's on a phantom 4000md.. Looking to go up in power pretty soon.. Already have custom box from Star Mountain. What would be the max rms these subs could handle daily on music. Not doing any burps.?? any amp suggestions would be appreciated.. ??

2 channel.. i don't need top of the line... so prob 100-150..

thanx.... I almost forgot about this post.. but so far I've been just running them off of my HU.. which is good enough for now.. they get loud enough to start hurting my ears after a while.

I have a '97 Honda Civic. Going to sams to get a batt for the trunk.. Should I just get the biggest I can fit..?? Or do I have to get a certain group size?? I'm running about 2k rms.. but might be looking to upgrade.. sometime later.

nah.. I bought a used Honda the next day. built a box.. (measured the trunk so it could fit.. and forgot to make sure it could get in the opening.) so it's in my back seat 4.2 ft^3. Sounded way better than the other box I had it in. So i'm keeping it.

thread is dead... so is my car.. Totaled by a hit and run. even box was crushed a little. Got subs and amp out though.
