Really? Man, you must have to have a hell of A box and some serious power to push those. I have enough room for a sealed box that would be efficient for just about anything, but I hear what you’re saying. A lot of people are running boxes with just one single woofer. I’m surprised by that.

Yeah. I actually had a Roadmaster radio with the eq also. Bought it in a package deal from Walmart. My very first radio that wasn’t stock. I think the one I bought was a 6x9s also. I had an old truck and just set the 6x9s also and just put them behind the seat. Man todays kids have it so...

So did I, I ran that Sony XEC-1000 back then. That thing was bad ass for its day. I ran 5 amps on that thing. I actually saved some money from graduation and bought that hot 12 band graphic EQ from Sony (I forget the model number). It was a full sized DIM with all kinda of digital LEDs...

Yeah SMD (I’m sure you know who this is) did something like that to me on some of his YouTube vids. I was trying to contribute saying what was our biggest builds were. Call me a liar and getting all mad because I said we put 12-15s in a 65 Mustang. Which we did and it was a build from hell...

Yeah DSPs are new to me. We just had EQs and active crossovers back in my day. Until they started to make them inside amps. I like something with knobs and slider also to adjust on the go and per song. I really want to check out some DSPs. They’re definitely pricey for a really good one...

Dang man, that would take a nuclear power plant to run that. So how big an alt, gauge wire, and number of batteries does than equate to? I couldn’t even imagine just the connectors and power distribution blocks. Jezzz. That’s a hell of a lot to me. Should be one loud mother fo’ sure...

Damn, what I would have done for some 21” subs back in the day! 😂 Yeah those are pretty beefy also. They’re pretty damn huge. Damn, at the box you’d have to have just to fit one of those long heavy assed subs. I’d probably have to but on extra shocks on my vehicle. Those are very nice...

Oh yeah, I know it’s just up to me, and I know sound is subjective. So it might bang to me, and should like crap to someone else. I value your opinions here. All comments and suggestions are useful especially that I’m more than 10 years late to the game. Yeah, I agree. There’s a lot more...

Man, don’t you wish Audiobahn was still in business. I never knew what happened to them. They had a head start on everything that’s newer in todays world. I really like Kicker as well. Hey man, did you see they’ve re-release those old type of woofers they had bac in the day. Those comp gold...

I’ve been hearing those Dayton’s were pretty good for car audio applications in a lot of forums and groups. Low distortion. Five year warranty is nice compared to today. I remember Rockford had like 3 years back in the day and were hand made in the USA. Of course, almost everything was…that...

Jesus! Those B2s subs are MASSIVE. Absolute monsters! XMAX is the longest I’ve ever seen. Of course, that’s some of their top of the line model subs. I’m now looking at something in their lower power lines. Checking now as I’m writing this. I do like the fact that they have a lot of...

I’ve haven’t heard of Adhire, but that’s something I will definitely do some reasesrch on. Appreciate the recommendation. I definitely will not go a cheaper route here. Especially since I’m just starting back into it. I’m thinking $1200-$1500 a pair…might even spring a little more, but...
