    New Alpine PDF-M12 and PDF-F6

I played with these a bit more today. I kept the volume at 65% for about 2 hours (I was not in the car) and the F6 hardly got warm. I rarely see it pull more than 6 amps, which is good since I have the stock alternator. The M12 is hammering my 10W6's. The peak current I've seen was 91 amps, but...

    New Alpine PDF-M12 and PDF-F6

I was a dumba$$ and forgot my camera today (I do all my installing in a garage way from my home). But I'll grab a few pictures tomorrow. I installed them under the front seats and you can't see anything with the seat slide all the way forward or all the way back. As far as installing. This is...

    New Alpine PDF-M12 and PDF-F6

I picked up the pair for $865. Still a little pricey, but not too terrifying. Since they are all black the don't photograph very well, but here's an attempt: The dollar is there to give an idea of size. I put the plugs in so you can see the room they need.

    New Alpine PDF-M12 and PDF-F6

So my new toys arrived tonight. The amps look really sharp in person, very clean and not flashy. I love the tiny footprint, as I'm trying to keep everything stealth. Also I really like the plug type connections. Here they are boxed up, I'll have pics of them in the car tomorrow. I have two...

Buck is doing free box designs...

If you're up for dabbling in a 4th order design I have one for you (although what I want might not be possible). I've been reading and reading and still have questions. I'm considering building a stealth box for a 12W7 or 13W7, but for it to be stealth I have a lot of requirements. I went on...

Can someone find out the cu ft of this box?

No need to get your ******* in a bunch guys. If a person can't do basic math, and can't even work Google to find the equation to do a basic math problem maybe they should re-prioritize their goals in life. If the guy was 14 years old I could cut him slack, but he's not. And if you think since...

Nissan Versa Hatchback with 10W6's and no loss of trunk space

I bought an ebay armrest to help with my stereo install. I thought it would be nice to mount my fuseblock in it. This proved to also be a giant PITA. A smaller fuse block with thinner power cables would have made it easier. The 1/0 gauge doesn't like to make sharp 90 degree turns. Here's the...

    4th order

I asked the similar question before..... and got the same answer as you (nothing). I used numerous box calculators available. From downloaded ones to cheesy online ones. Eventually you'll see similar numbers coming up, and I'd bet those numbers will be fairly accurate.

90 degree or right angle power connectors?

I'm trying to put my fused distribution block in a tight space and will likely need 90 degree connections on my 4 gauge and 1/0 gauge power wires, but I haven't seen anything like this for sale. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
