Oh oh, ok. I gotcha. Might have been cause it was a while ago. Been kinda keeping this thread updated since I set things up. My MRP-m1000 kept going into protect mode so I swapped in an AudioQue 1200D and it's been fantastic... till yesterday when it nuked my sub. The Havoc looks good but...

Ya lost me man.

Finally pushed her too hard and blew something out. Had the Audioque dialed pretty low but I ran the sub hard for a few hours straight and it finally did her in. Back to the drawing board, need a new sub that'll actually do 1k RMS.

LOL, did I mess that one up? Just assumed it was DJ as he didn't sign his email back to me with another name. Either way, great step-by-step stuff. And so am I. Guess a good way to describe how it's treating me... the initial test immediately put a massive s&it eating grin on my face...

With the help of some excellent instructions from DJ @ AQ, I hooked up the 1200D and got it dialed. Subsequently, my old Alpine was so embarrassed that it ran and hid under the couch. This amp is stellar and my RE sounds fantastic. Very, very pleased.
