LOC with 2005 Maxima Bose system. Which wires?

Ok ok, I know this topic has been beat to death, but I still can't find an answer to my exact question. 2005 Maxima with Bose system and powered Bose Subs on rear deck. I located the +\- sub wires that come from the main Bose amp, and tapped into them before the are fed into the powered Bose...

Getting The Cleanest Signal Through LOC

LOC Install For Cleanest Signal Possible Question Ok. I've spent many hours in my trunk wiring etc., trying to find the cleanest and strongest signal I can get. I have a 05 Maxima with a Bose unit. The system has two stock "subs" on the rear deck. One has its own amplifier. The Bose Amp has...

Need A Little Help With Gluing Surround Back To Cone

Worked out a DIY cone to surround clamping system hahaha. It's the worst looking thing ever, but I have pressure up on the cone and even weight pressing down around the surround. If this doesn't work, I'll have to really find out what others have used to clamp the inner edge of the surround...

Need A Little Help With Gluing Surround Back To Cone

Well, this topic has probably been covered but I'm failing to find my exact answer. I have a Audiobahn AW1206Q 12" woofer that has a little separation between the foam surround and the cone. I'm 95% sure I can glue this. It's about a 4" separation. My options for glue are no name superglue...

Will a higher end LOC make my signal cleaner?

C1500martin, that video blew my mind. AudioControl emailed me back and said I could wire only the left channel, and I would get signal from the left RCA output... Running signal through a single RCA? I don't think I've ever come across that before.

Will a higher end LOC make my signal cleaner?

That's awesome to hear. My question has definitely been answered. Higher end LOC's have better processing, thus giving a cleaner signal. Stoked! Now I just need to see if the LC2i will work for me just using the two wires. I'm thinking I could just make Like a Y adaptor out of the speaker...

Will a higher end LOC make my signal cleaner?

Thanks for the info. I read up a little on the LC2i and emailed Audiocontrol to see if only using two speaker wires and only the bass output will work. I'm also trying to hunt down a cheap oscilloscope to completely test my setup. Plus, I've just always wanted to play with one lol. I've...

Will a higher end LOC make my signal cleaner?

I've been using a inexpensive Scosche LOC purchased at Walmart for quite some time, and I've never tried a better, higher end LOC. This model is two channel, with adjustable levels for each channel, and has a remote level control which I love having. I have a 05 Maxima with Bose running a mono...

Help With Proper RCA Voltage And LOC Wiring Into Bose System. Not A Beginner :)

Spent all afternoon at the beach and came home, popped the trunk, and there was one waaaaaaaarrrrrrm cone in there. Phew. I am honest thinking I'm going to end up baseless furor a while again. All I want from Summer Santa is a 12D4 Type R in a enclosure, and a MX110 with some beefier wire...

Hooking up a Pioneer deh p4300

Actually, I may have made a small mistake. It looks like there are antennae adapters that exist for certain GM vehicles. There's a good chance that the wiring harness you buy might even come with the adaptor you need, if you need one.

Hooking up a Pioneer deh p4300

Ok, so I'm chilling at the beach and did some research for you. The RCA's you see are output only, used to send a audio signal to an aftermarket amp, if you want to. Let's say you wanted to install a Subwoofer for some big boom, one of the two RCA outputs would light the way to boom. On your...

Help With Proper RCA Voltage And LOC Wiring Into Bose System. Not A Beginner :)

I think my post was waaaaay too long and garbled. I've spent 7 hours requiring and testing different connections for my LOC. In case anyone stumbles on this, these were my results: Main Bose amp has the Sub output going to Sub amp. This connection tested at RCA was 1.4V Bose SUB AMP output...

Sub keeps losing power - HELP?

Hey from the US. A REM wire is purely used to signal the amp to turn on, that's it. Usually a 16-18 gauge wire is what I've seen used. I don't have any specific link for you, but what I would do is just buy a specific REM wire from a trusted seller. If you're worried about the wire being...
