That’s exactly what I thought it was until I saw the actual difference in my voltmeter. In a specific song I tested, the bass line drops my meter down to 12.0 within the begging of the song. The same bass line 30 seconds later only drops the meter down 13.0. The difference is pretty noticeable...

Hey guys, i’ve been wondering what this is for a while now. Any idea on why I go to cold start my car, the bass hits harder for the first minute or so, then softens up after a while? The bass will hit hard af and I can see the difference in how hard it hits with my voltmeter. Thanks!

the volt meter isn’t the issue as the amps cut out as well.

i do have a multi meter. which areas should i test with it?

Yes i have checked voltage before and after the fuse. I am using a distribution block. Could that have anything to do with it?

the volt meter could read 5v and the battery would be sitting at 14.3v. i’m at a loss. bad amps maybe??

well… it’s not a bad battery. the alternator still charges the battery just fine. all the electronics in the car work perfect except for these two amps. what could this be!?

That doesn’t explain why the amps are cutting out and why the voltage is sluggish. The voltmeter is showing what the amps see.

I was considering getting a new battery and this confirmed it. Thanks man!
