loudassworkvan

Just an old basshead. Been building my own systems for 30 plus years now. I'm a firm believer that it can't never get too loud and you don't have to own the best equipment or spend a fortune to be as loud as you want to be and make yourself happy. I remember where I came from and don't hate on anyone. I'd have to say that I believe I've got the loudest work van in the country ( well at least here in Ohio but it's my dream dammit ). Not sure what it meters, never cared to meter it since it's my daily driver work van. Currently running a few year old Pioneer double din head unit in the dash, no stock speakers at all anywhere. In the cab is all Skar speakers. Custom built box with 2 10 inch and 3 8 inch mid bass all powered by a old school American Bass VFL 150.1 ( same line of amps throughout my ride ), doors have 2 high powered tweets as well as a 6x9 full range in each door. Rear doors are the same setup and all are powered by a 350.1. For the lows I recently upgraded from running 8 XFL 10's on 2 each 100.1 and 120.1 to a set of DC Audio Level 5 Elite 15's in a custom built 2.25 inch thick birch enclosure I built myself and being powered by a 500.1 at .7 ohms and 14.4 volts. Tons of battery and electrical upgraded done by myself as well. Not a single poece of this system with the exception of the wood for the v
box was bought new by me. All of it was bought second hand and pieced together over years of scouring places like fb marketplace and the likes. would have to say that this mf'r gets down. To me there's nothing better than when I see someone looking to see who's got that boom in their ride only to see its a work van with stacks of ladders on the top. Sure they are expecting something completely different for sure! If I'm gonna spend the better part of my life in it, it's damn sure gonna sound the way I want it to. Ugly I can deal with, quiet music......that's a different story
