They are 12"... It says on the front speaker part 12".. And checked it just for good measure. They look exactly like the model you told me they were.. But for some reason on the middle part of the sub (Which is in the box now) they had 1042d on them... Must have just been a factory mess up or...

Hmm weird, it says blatantly in red SWR-1042D... Thank you for shedding that bit of light on me Gary! I'm just hoping I wired them up the correct way lol. I'm fairly certain I did, but i'm having a buddy come over this weekend to check for sure.

So I have been searching online for my sub which is Alpine SWR-1042D.. But a 12" not 10". I have looked EVERYWHERE online and cannot find any single mention of this model as a 12". I'm trying to see if it is compatible with my Hifonics Titan TXi 1008D amp.. Any help tracking this thing down...

I have a multimeter here at home, I will test it all out tomorrow, thank you guys so much for your help. Now I just have to fix my CD Receiver wires, then it'll be complete!

Okay, so I need the Sub level on the Receiver turned up? I turned it up to 15 (Max) and it seems to hit a lot harder, now I guess I just have to tune it to make it sound less blah. lol. I took out the Red tipped bottom wires from my sub and just cut a wire and did this: Hooked the two...

Would you happen to have a decent picture/diagram to show me how to wire the subs to 1 ohm by chance? Sorry for all the silly questions.. I'm just starting out in the car audio world..

****, I also messed up my subwoofer model... My subs are SWR-1042D I just realised this after I took them out of the box. I'm not too sure on the model of the box as it doesnt say, and the size is unknown as well since I dont have a tape measure... It is ported in the middle between the two subs.

Lol yeah my bad, I keep getting Pioneer and Kenwood mixed up for some reason. There is a sub level control on the deck yes, but I shouldnt have to turn that up I didnt think.. I've checked out video's on youtube and everyones subs that are the same as mine kick at least 10 times harder even...

I just tested it with the AA battery, when I hooked the wire up to the AA battery both of the subs pushed out. By the way, i'm going to take one of my subs out and take a picture and post it up here with the voice coils... Idk if those are setup right or not.

Okay, yeah they do slightly share a chamber, the sub box is ported down the middle, so they both have a little room to breathe twords the back of the box. And If you ever come down, hit me up, could use a good opinion on this system :P I'll finda double A battery then.. But I repeat my Sub is...
