alright signal to noise ration mmat is 85db and jl 500/1 is 95db is that a big difference how does that play into sound quality if at all

all right I did some reading around I'll drop the 10, whats a decent amp for the w6 I like the jl 500/1 but I'd like to try something else I've been using jl for a while I need a new flavor

svc is just single voice coil

w6 is dual 4ohm so i can be hooked up as either 8 or 2ohm, the other is a svc 2ohm

the 1200d is only 400 @4ohms, the 3200 would work if it wasn't 20 inches long, wait i see what you saying now. the 12w6 is a dual voice coil so its set up in 2 ohm, then the other as 2 yeah ok. i got it lol

no room, plus these are already mounted the amp for the 12w6 quit so i had a small amp and the 10 laying around that I made to for it in the first place. these are in my 87 full size jimmy but mounted in such a way that i can still use all the space in it. I hate sound systems that render it...

I'll be running 2 subs I have a 12w6v2 and a 10w3v3 2ohm. the ppi i650 does 650 @ 2ohms which will over power one of my subs and @4ohms its not enough power I'm looking for either 400-500 x2 @ 2ohms or does 800-1000 x1@ 4ohms. its basically the same power divided by or multiplied by 2. 10w3 rms...

I need an amp that does either 400-500 x2 @ 2ohms or does 800-1000 x1@ 4ohms. budget is tight looking for around $250 or less
