I have a 95 acura legend with two type r's in it, but now i need some speakers that are loud also. My boy pulled up with two 8in EVs in his back deck and they were screaming and thats how i want mine. Are there other speakers besides EVs i could get that come in 6x9 or 6 3/4 that get as loud...

I've had this amp for like a year now running at 1 ohm with 2 12" dvc 4 ohm type R's. Recently the bass started cutting off and now theres no bass at all , but the amps power was still on and it doesnt even go into protect mode. I took it to a audio store and he tested it and still the same...

how would i kno if the voice coil is bad? also i just went nd put the meter to each set of coils and got 2.5 or 2.6 for each one stead of 2 .. could it be the meter itself is off by .5 or .6?

also when i disconnect the subs from each other so only one sub is connected to the amp im showing either a 2.5 or 2.6 readingg ..

the first time i did it yea they were in the box .. now i rewired it and one sub is in the box and the other is on top of the box .. because i didnt want to screw them in yet .. but its still setting on 1.6 or 1.7 by the way its a digital reader i bought from auto zone

I have two 12 inch alpine type r's 4 ohm dual voice coil subs .. I checked at how many ohms it was running at and got 1.6 .. i rewired it and im still gettin either 1.6 or 1.7 .. did i wire it wrong or something? any advice will be appreciated .. also i have a sundwon audio sae 1200 amp that...

i already have a fuse next to my battery but i just didnt know the purpose of it thats all.. and i have my subs wiring right already... thanks

alright thanks for the info people... imma def check that out tomorrow... but would the bass work without having a fuse under the hood?? also, do you guys think it might be my headunit by any chance?? and would it even be the ground? ive had a system for a while but it just recently started...
