looks good so far but what size drivers are you putting in them? That appears to be .25" material for the baffle which seems very thin for that application.

Wow 20 k miles thats awesome. They would have to be documented because it is very easy to manipulate the odometer in these things to whatever mileage you desire.

I haven't ever figured around town mileage, but on a trip to the coast I got 15 MPG on the highway at 70MPH. Not great by any means buts its an old V8. I have 1972 350 that I will probably replace the 327 with in the future as money allows.

Original odometer had 91 k on it. I replaced the stock engine with a freshly rebuilt 1968 327 v8 and a 1987 700r4 automatic overdrive. So I guess you could call this a restomod. Many Toyota pruest cringe at the idea of chevy drivetrain, but I like the power and driveablity it gives.

This is a picture of it after the initial frame off restoration I did. Since this was taken I have added : 4 wheel disc brakes air conditioning rear gas tank custom vdo dash panel and many other things... Up next are power windows and power steering and finish sound deadening and stereo...

I finally got the door pods done so I could do a little paint work today.

OK guys, I just got these in on Monday from Madisound. I had planned on using them on axis is kick pods but I have decided for this particular install, up high in the door panels with a tweeter that preforms well off axis will be my best bet. So, these are up for sale or trade. I never mounted...

Just wanted to thank you guys for all the great info. The UPS man brought me a present today. Yeah. Overlook the dust on the speakers. Man I am so impressed with the build quality of the speakers. Hopefully in a week or so I will have the door panels done and get them installed. Now...
