Best comps for factory power under $200? Maximo, Dieci or Auditor?

you Think the paper ones will have better midbass? Is it because they’re specifically tuned to those?

Best comps for factory power under $200? Maximo, Dieci or Auditor?

Just upgraded to a new Jetta SEL luxury. Awesome car from the looks, to the features, to the tech to the gas mileage. Clearly, the “premium” Beats system isn’t the best. I think the processing is pretty decent. It puts out decent power and has a fair amount of mids, highs and lows. It just has...

How clean is the SoundQubed HDS2.1 Series??

Yes, Gary we have talked before. I was always asking some stupid question on here lol. I appreciate your offer! I am leaning towards the XD 12 suggested, but I will get back to you if I change my mind.

How clean is the SoundQubed HDS2.1 Series??

Aren't 4th orders pretty hard to get right if you're new to boxes? Lol

How clean is the SoundQubed HDS2.1 Series??

I had the sub face the trunk lid as it should be. BUT, I did have that ski pass thing open which is basically the middle seat down (all my seats don't fold). That was probably creating a bit of a band pass effect with the sealed box. Didn't think it was hurting anything really lol. What would've...

How clean is the SoundQubed HDS2.1 Series??

To be honest with you, I think the Kappa I got was defective from the start but being a novice I didn't totally notice. Half the time it sounded not too clean like not too far off my P1s That was with a properly set amp and a proper sealed box with no air leak. Hmmm is the NVX VS series any good?

How clean is the SoundQubed HDS2.1 Series??

You think even the 8 wouldn't sound that good? I have heard the Dayton HO is a very nice sub. My broke a** would just like to keep it closer to $100 though because that's what I got on this Visa card lol.

How clean is the SoundQubed HDS2.1 Series??

I think the old Kappa 120.9w is finally done for. A lot of the glue between the suround and the dust cap is gone and it makes that signature RIP crunching sound haha. Time for a budget friendly replacement... Came across the SoundQubed HDS2.1 series. They're only like $100 a piece and everyone...

Little puzzled as to why my system isn't functioning properly...

For ferrule, I had purchased some and tried to crimp with the mono amp before and it didn't work out for me lol. And yes, nothing is soldered. Unfortunately, I don't have the tools for that

Little puzzled as to why my system isn't functioning properly...

Well, on my ride home from the gym I gave it a try. Had the bass cut out at one point and soon after, everything momentarily.

Little puzzled as to why my system isn't functioning properly...

My wires look all pretty tight, but two going into the 2 ch look a bit iffy. The tip of the smaller one is kind of like wrapped around the larger (my knowledge is limited lol I could tell you which aside from they're blue). Could just that in the 2ch cause my whole system to cut out like that?

Little puzzled as to why my system isn't functioning properly...

When you say cut, do you mean that the wire is still somewhat attached, but damaged or like it is not making a connection and I would be able to grab it and the tip would come out with it? Can the issue cause the sub to go out as well even it is with my 2 ch?

Little puzzled as to why my system isn't functioning properly...

So I have a stock head unit with an LC7i in my Acura. Connected to that is a mono for my 12" and Zapco two channel for my 6.5 front components. Back speakers are left alone and powered by the oem amp. In like June or July, the sub and front speakers would cut out at times. Ok, I figured the aux...
