Yea i was referring to the top mounting bolts near the headrest. My car doesn't have the mach system.

Thx. How close does that come to the top mounting bolts if you remember? Wat did you use to cut it?

So I am putting a xfl 15" in my trunk and i would prefer to not fir the sub up. I know the max height of the trunk opening with the backseat removed is 13.5". Could i cut a inch and a half to get the 15" for the sub without doing structural damage? Heres a pic of the opening with the seat removed.
