I'm not talking about the output of the subs. I know one will be louder than the other depending on the factors. But if you were to just sit in the car would you really be able to tell if someone had a single sub setup vs. multiple subs?

I was wondering if you would be able to tell a difference (by ear) between a single sub setup? I was considering either running two 15s or 1 18. Would there be any advantage to one setup over the other? I'm talking more musical wise not just which one is louder, if that makes sense.

So its just the lettering, that doesn't look too bad. I thought it was the whole dustcap was colored.

I saw on fi's website that you can pick a color for the dustcap. Does anyone have any pictures of some of the different colors? I would like to see how these look. Sorry if there's already a thread on this, I searched for it but couldnt find any.

I'm thinking of switching to a single sub setup. Which size sub would you go with, 10", 12", 15", 18"? I've got plenty of space so that's not a problem and I've got about 1500-2000 watts to work with. I dont mind either going sealed or ported. I've been thinking about maybe doing a 15" or 18"...

But the tint is also blocking the output of those "bright ass lights" making them less bright than not having a tinted windshield. So it would be the same if not better than an untinted windshield.

Also how is the ipod connectivity for these models? I used to have the Premier 490ib and really liked it but something went wrong with it and i had to return. They didnt have any more in stock so now Im looking for a new headunit.

I've narrowed down my choices for a new headunit to these two. Are these two units pretty much the same control wise? Which one would you choose and why, Pioneer or Premier?

Thanks, do you know what it can really put out? I know it says it does 2000 @ 1 ohm but do you think its underated or overated?

I've got a Lightning Audio x2000.1D but no subs. I am trying to decide between two 18" Qs or two 18" SSDs. They will be put in a ported box with the appropiate airspace. So should I do 2 Qs with no options or 2 SSDs with BP power? Any other input would be appreciated. Thanks
