i don't have one.....but i do have two

4700 on subs ~600 on speakers for daily

well my car is kinda pissing me off it idles at some bs like 5 or 6 hundred rpm and when i stop at lights and im bumping the comp amp shuts off and words go off but it comes back on when i start rolling. can i just turn my idle up to like 800-900 rpm? anyone know how to do this?

dream system: my system but with more batteries and z6's up in front instead of pro60's

**** maybe my scale is just f'ed i would try and pull them outta my box and weigh them on a diff scale but they're in a bandpass and its a ***** to take them out

was wondering that also.....if so i think that would sound pretty bad/weird with 2 subs getting different wattage unless u had them strapped then its just dangerous

also i think 2 xxx's weigh more than 144 pounds when i got them i put them on my home scale and they were about 90 pounds each but my home scale could be a little off but not that much

haha lol at ^. right now they are at 4 ohm seeing about 1kw each and its such a **** waste it kills me they barely move. but they still get so low its absurd and as loud as my sx's did off 1600 watts each. can't wait for my electrical **** to be fixed

optima is a solid battery who offers an outstanding warranty if you buy it from an autohorized dealer. i had a lightnin audio and it was the exact same thing as a yellow top but -warranty and cost more....i learned my lesson

yeah i have called and talked to them to see if i could get a return and they said no then i asked if they had a bigger alt and they said no so it looks like its gonna be a dual alt setup with 2 "275 amp" alts and 2 yellow tops with dual runs of 1/0. if this doesnt solve it i will cry and pout...

oh and i only have 1 batt. do i need a batt isolator if im running two alts with 2 batts? i was told no by the guy at the alt place

i have a yellow top under the hood. i have done the big 3. all my wiring is either 4 or 0 gauge. alt is an alterstart 275 max 140-145 at 800 rpm idle. this place also makes a dual alt bracket so i was thinking get that and another 275 amp alt cuz i cant return the one i already have

does anyone know if 2 275 amp alt's with 2 yellow tops would solve my power issue? also i was talking to the guy at alterstart and he told me a batt isolator was not necessary and would cause resistance if i had 2 alt's? do i really not need a batt isolator to run 2 batts? lmk

i dont think 70 pounds for a 12" 06 xxx is right. i put mine on a scale and it was like 91 ish
