Neodymium magnets would work it’s what I’m gonna use in mine.

Do you know how much space you have to work with? With that budget you could def get a custom box an some good budget quality subs.

What’s your budgets, have you added in a custom box to your budget?

A pair of D2 subs can’t wire to 1ohm it’s either 0.5ohm or 4ohm , as for your alt I recommend Singer Alternators An going as big as you can you don’t wanna end up having to buy something twice if you can avoid it.
