it is the 1200.1 amp i am sure of that i did try a friends suggestion of only hooking up the power from the battery and deck and it still blew the fuses (with no sub wires attached) so i am really starting to think that my amp has a short any other opinons or theorys?

they are two ohm subs and the amp is 2 channel i belive at least that is what my friends said because it has 2+ and 2- out puts

i bought them from a friend amp and sub i have tried retightening the ground many times and still blows all of the fuses and i moved it once so i guess i need to take the sub out and look at it to find out the ohms?

is there a way to know how it is wired to figure out how many ohms it is just by looking at it?

i bought them from a friend and i dont know but i can find out tomorrow.. but i think that it is 4ohm but once again not sure

i have a viper 1200w amp hooked up to 2 12" alpine type r and it worked fine for a 2 days untill i changed a song and the subs went out... i looked at the fuses on the amp... 3x 30 fuses... and they were burnt out.. i checked the ground and moved it just incase i checked the amp under the hood...
