    you think you could have used a smaller guage wire for the subs??? You should have at least used 12 guage!!

    Those amps power the mids and highs. The sub amps are underneith the those two amps if you look closely the box "floats" over the sub amps (2 -2300hcx). The bottom amps are also mounted on edge lit Plexiglas. The subwoofers are actually wired with 10 gauge wire.

    whoever said the **** about sub wire is dumb. nobody needs 12 gauge unless your running thousands and thousands of watts. remember the man who tested a speakers with 20 feet of wire and 500 watts. 20 gauge and 12 gauge. there was a .1 decibel difference. so using 16 gauge is fine for almost all applications

    awesome install.. i love the sound of those alums

    i got two A18001DQ amps
    any sugestions for me???

    what numbers r ya hitting with that.
    and what size r those alums your running?

    4 alum 12". Best so far was a 152 at a local db drag in street 3-4. And ohh yea there are thousands and thousand of watts, that is why we went with 10 gauge speaker wire (each sub amp is rated at 2300 watts and there are two)
