1998 Acura CL 3.0 Headunit Installation

    Hi all,
I am trying to install this new headunit in my 1998 Acura CL 3.0. It is the one with the Bose System. I can't figure out how to remove the factory headunit. Can someone give me some help or guide me to a web site that could explain how to safely remove the factory Bose headunit in a 1998 Acura CL 3.0. Thanks in advance for all the help!

    -hokee

    Stop!

    Dude,
Bose systems are often more involved than your standard deck install. I'm guessing if you can't figure out how to get the deck out of the dash, you'll have a lot less luck with the Bose system. Go to a reputible install shop and have them do it. It will probably cost you $50 - $60, but it'll be well worth it.

i just took my bose head unit out of my 02 acura tl type s. the cl and tl are similar but to get the head unit out you gotta open the middle storage and unscrew about 4 screws, then take the trim of the sides and unscrew all you see there. after words you need to throw the shifter into 1,2 if its automatic and you can start taking the unit out if you have anymore questions just holla
