help with my amp wiring

i have a soundstream vga 500.4 and have it wired now with channels 1+2 running to my component set, and channels 3+4 bridged to my sub at a 4 ohm mono load.... for some reason it's not pushing my sub well..... i have the att button on and the rca sense switch on bypass..... can anybody help here.... what could be the problem... my sub is a 10 inch rockford punch 3 which handles 400 watts rms and the amp should be pushing 500 rms?? i'm lost

what kinda box is the sub in? have you mest with the gain? etc.

the gains are all up.... checked the wiring in the sub box..... the box is desinged specifically for my infiniti g35.... this amp is pushing my diamond audio hex components perfectly, and not pushing the sub well... can't figure it out.. when i have the rca switch on sense i get no sound out of my stereo...??????? i'm lost

do you have the speakers wired right to channels 3 and 4?

i have them bridged as shown on the amp... channel 3 positive and channel 4 negative... done this before with other systems.....this is my first problem

gains are all up? yikes, remove fingers from gain and turn that thing down, it is NOT a volume control. Read the gain setting tutorial!

I am assuming the att button means attenuation? Turn that OFF, and turn the RCA sense bypass OFF, see how that works.

yea dude. ATT = LOWER (basically like a -24db button or somthing similar) and the same thing with "RCA SENSE BBYPASS". turn all that **** off.

turn the gains to 1\2 way, and then give it a try. unless your sub is SVC8 - or RMS of like 800 in a small sealed box, you should be fine.

i have the att off and the rca bypass off... still not hitting hard... if a put the gains all the way up it sounds ok... but i know that it should pound with 500 rms watts to a single punch 3 10" ...........i have it wired correctly.........don't know what else it could be....i even tried a different line output converter... still no luck.. any ideas?

swop the channels round, so 1 and 2 go tot he sub, 3 and 4 go to your components. that should let you know if the amp is faulty/sub faulty.
